I went to pay a quick visit to my father, Ralphe Baker this weekend. I wanted to get a nice picture that both he and I were happy with. I am happy with the end result. The weather in the North Carolina mountains, wasn’t to nice but we ran outside in between rain showers to grab the outdoor shots.
Angela and I took June down to the river for her normal afternoon exercise. I have been wanting to use some of my new camera gear and lighting techniques so I dragged my camera bag along. I loved the way Angela’s green shirt blended with the green trail and woods around us.
I joined some friends at Smith’s Olde Bar in Midtown, for a tribute concert to help rebuild the burned down Georgia Theater in Athens. I was blown away by the musicians who played that night. I had a great time shooting the show, I was back stage, onstage and all around the stage. I met some great people and had a fun time with some old friends.
Wade and I met up with Angela and June at the park today. The light was good and we had our cameras ready so we snapped away hoping to get some nice doggy portraits..
