My Lunch…

August 22, 2009

My Friend Mark drove in from North Carolina today and we went looking for some lunch. I had forgotten that there was a new Alon’s Bakery across from Perimeter mall here in Atlanta., so we went there. The smoked pepper turkey is the best sandwich on this planet. It deserved it’s own private photo shoot.

The Cute and Not So Cute

August 22, 2009

My day began with helping a friend, John Kelso with a portrait shoot in Southeast Atlanta. We visited some interesting places looking for the perfect spot for his vision. He had me wear a black suit and stand in some remote locations. It was hot and fun and I ended up learning a lot about the medium  format camera world. Later that, evening the Robbins family came over for a quick visit after buying a couch off Craig’s List. Little Miss Amy was in a great mood so I pulled out the camera to capture her smiles a big round eyes.

Layne and her mom Megan came over for a visit today. We only had about an hour to talk shop and play with the camera so we headed down to Whittier Mill Park to snap a few photos of the little one. These are some of my favorites before the rain came and made us leave.

I worked on some more of the pictures from this past weekend and decided to include some more from the day to help tell the story.
