I had the privilege of photographing a friends from the movies who I have wanted to work with for a few months. Rebecca works as a costumer in the movie business so there was no shortage of outfit changes. We had beautiful weather for the shoot, cool temps and lots of sun. Our location was an old Norfolk Southern office building that has been abandoned. We made use of the office furniture we found laying around.
Anyone involved in the Ward engagement party this weekend was watching the huge storm front rolling through Atlanta. We have had wonderful sunny blue skies here in town all week and the the only day it was going to rain was Saturday night. The rain came as expected and soaked the area around the white tent, flooding the sidewalks with over two inches of water. This engagement party was all just a cover, to gather the Ward’s family and friends to throw a surprise wedding. The guests settled in as the rain slowed, enjoying drinks and some fantastic BBQ. The couple of the evening Autumn and Wes went back to their house to change into their tuxedo and wedding dress. Everyone was gathered around the dinner tables by Chris, the Minister who would later marry the two, stalling the crowd until Autumn and Wes arrived and made their way through the crowd to the front. The secret was out, Wes’s mother began to cry and there were hugs everywhere. The night continued with an exchange of vows, some dancing and then a cake fight. It was an unforgettable party and everyone had a great time.

Stewie is half Dachshund and half German Shepherd, he’s fast and cute and lives next door. I had a hard time catching him still, he was a very energetic puppy.
I had the privilege of joining my friend Megan in photographing her nine day old niece Riley. We had an easy time positioning her and dressing her in funny hats and such. Limited light and space made for tough but fun shoot. Thanks to the Thompson family and congratulations on their new addition to the family.
