Last week, my good friend Kate asked me to do some basic belly pics of her bump. I said sure no problem, but I wanted to go outside and get some shots in nature to show her outdoors side of her personality and life. Kate is an amazing competitive rock climber, one of the best females out there. So I wanted to show more then a basic black background. Here are just a few of my favorites from the shoot.

I have been doing a maternity series photo for my friend Nancy since she found out they were pregnant about 7 months ago. So yesterday we decided she was pregnant enough to go out and get some cool outdoor shots with her husband Brian joining us. We had a small window of time while the light was good, but I think we got some good stuff that they will have to remember this awesome time in their lives. I’m sure there will be a shoot once baby Somi enters the world in July, so stay tuned for that. Nancy and I joke about starting a club for 1/4 asian babies since my little Lilly will be 1/4 Korean. I can’t wait. Thank you Brian and Nancy for sweating with me and swatting bugs that landed on your face. And to my dog June, thanks for getting in the way and giving us plenty of laughs.
