I use a template based website, since I have no web design skills and don’t really want to pay some one to design a site for me. I use Parade Pro, templates strictly designed for photographers. I’ve been very happy with them since I joined in 2009. Anyway they decided to add me as this month’s featured photographer on the Parade Blog. Last week, my good friend Kate asked me to do some basic belly pics of her bump. I said sure no problem, but I wanted to go outside and get some shots in nature to show her outdoors side of her personality and life. Kate is an amazing competitive rock climber, one of the best females out there. So I wanted to show more then a basic black background. Here are just a few of my favorites from the shoot.

Lil and I had an adventure today. She even summited a mountain. (I named her Lil since she looks like a little version of my wife Angela.)

Today was an early rise to watch the sunrise over the ocean, After that we didn’t do much, I didn’t leave the house until it was time to hike to the top of the mountain where our house is to watch the sun setting in the distance. We ate drank and played in the pool, and I even managed to squeeze in a nap. Tomorrow I will venture off this mountain and head into town. I look forward to meeting the locals and getting some photos of these native French Islanders. Enjoy the views and faces.
