I met Sophia and her mother at my local playground a few months ago, I snapped a couple pictures that day, and the rest is history. Sophie is a super cute one year old. She has some amazing big round brown eyes, and some of the cutest expressions. She was one of the easiest kids I have ever worked with, all happy and no grumpy. She’s a real pro. Thanks, Candice and Danny for having me document this milestone for little Sophia.

Lil and I had an adventure today. She even summited a mountain. (I named her Lil since she looks like a little version of my wife Angela.)

I woke up early today and headed down to my favorite park to meet up with the Hannahs. There Little boy Liam was sure to be having a good time playing in the three plus inches of snow we got yesterday. I really wanted to capture that youthful excitement. I have never really shot in the snow so this was a learning experience for me as well.

First of all, happy new year to all my readers. My eve was spent with friends in my neighborhood and then with some other friends in the Whittier Mill Park neighborhood. My friends Chris and Mandy, held a British Isles themed celebration consisting of lots of Guinness Beer, whisky, and many interesting British and Scottish foods. “Spotted dick“, “digestives with clotted cream“, and good old “Haggis” were some of the super stars of the night. After a few drink at their house, we walked to the park for a hefty fireworks show put on by some of the neighbors. I had a blast and cant wait until next year to do it again.
