Halloween 2010
November 2, 2010Kate Has One More Month
October 30, 2010Last week, my good friend Kate asked me to do some basic belly pics of her bump. I said sure no problem, but I wanted to go outside and get some shots in nature to show her outdoors side of her personality and life. Kate is an amazing competitive rock climber, one of the best females out there. So I wanted to show more then a basic black background. Here are just a few of my favorites from the shoot.

Kenny and Leslie Get Married
October 12, 2010I teamed up with Melissa Prosser this weekend to be her second shooter for an awesome wedding. It was held at Ambient Plus Studio in Downtown Atlanta. It’s an amazing old building with hardwood flooring and white brick walls. The 10 foot high windows gave us tons of light to work with during the ceremony. As soon as we stepped outside to get pictures of the bridal party, we noticed an amazing old green station wagon which provided a great backdrop for the bride Leslie. We used a nearby junkyard and the railroad tracks as well, to round off some fantastic sunset pictures. The party continued inside with cocktails, dinner and then lots of dancing. Leslie and Kenny are in a band, so they sang a few songs in front of their family and friends to kick off the fun night. Congrats to you guys on an awesome wedding and party, and good luck in your coming years as husband and wife.

Brian and Mallory Get Married
September 29, 2010I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of two great people this weekend. I joined my friend Megan Davidson for the marriage of Brian and Mallory. The wedding ceremony was held at the Mountain Park United Methodist Church in Stone Mountain, with the reception at the Bear’s Best Golf Club in Swannee. Everything was going well after the beautiful ceremony, until the limo didn’t show up to carry the wedding party from the church to the reception. This made for some downtime standing around in the chruch parking lot with some angry phonecalls for the bride’s father to the limo company. We ended up driving everyone in personal cars, resulting in a fun caravan and very late arrival to the reception, where the guests awaited the bride and groom. The party continued into the night and a great time was had by all. I too had a great time and loved meeting so many new people. I want to congratulate Brian and Mallory on their marriage and wish them the best of luck for the future.
